We are seeking a Business Intelligence Program Manager who combines expertise in BI development with strategic acumen in managing BI projects and programs. This dual-role individual will be both hands-on development and strategic oversight of our BI initiatives, ensuring alignment with our business goals. As the BI Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven future and spearheading our key initiatives. Your expertise in operational excellence, technical proficiency, and business acumen will be immediately leveraged to deliver accurate and timely insights, uncover trends and patterns in data, and provide practical, actionable recommendations for process improvements. These contributions are key to guiding decision-making across the organization, as you adeptly translate complex data into results-driven insights for various stakeholders across the enterprise. Responsibilities

You Will

  • Lead the planning and design of BI projects, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.
  • Collaborate with various teams to define project requirements, ensuring effective implementation and delivery of BI solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of data from multiple sources, using tools like Tableau, SQL, and Power BI to create actionable reports and analyses.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and progress.
  • Actively identify and address risks that could impact the program's success and implement process enhancements and streamlining measures to ensure effective governance and control within the Business Intelligence management framework.
  • Continuously pursue professional growth to keep up-to-date with the latest Business Intelligence technologies and methodologies. Simultaneously, champion the enhancement of data and BI literacy, and lead the initiative to make BI capabilities more accessible and widespread within the organization.

Qualifications

 

What we are looking for

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Strong understanding and experience with SQL, database technologies, and data warehousing.
  • Experience in data modeling and knowledge of data architecture.
  • Ability to create complex reports, dashboards, and perform data analysis.
  • Basic project management experience, including requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team environments.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Mastery of advanced features in BI tools.
  • Enhanced skills in programming for complex data manipulation and analysis.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts applicable in BI.
  • Experience with cloud data services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing BI teams and mentoring junior developers.
  • Strong program management skills in handling large-scale BI projects, including strategy development and cross-functional coordination.
  • Industry-specific experience, particularly in supply chain, consumer goods, or having cross-industry exposure.
